This winter has been harder for the other Italian: prolonged cold forced the Italians to spend more on food, that the economic crisis was not easy. Carlo Petrini (Carlo Petrini), a supporter of the movement «slow food» in Italy, believes that this is a great occasion to remember the traditional Italian dishes that do not require expensive ingredients, but taste and the benefits are not inferior to modern dishes, but on the contrary – they are superior. Carlo Petrini admitted that he was glad that by crisis, young Italians are interested in simple traditional recipes, and the older generation can pass on their knowledge and experience.
